Changes to the performance clutch disc compared to the series clutch disc: higher thermal load capacity than organic friction lining, higher transmittable torque compared to organic friction lining, very resistant to dirt, aggressive starting behavior. Areas of application: Circuit (e.g. long-distance races, club sports, autocross), hill climbs (e.g. Group N), rally, slalom, drift, 1/4 mile race A reinforced performance clutch is distinguished from a series clutch by, among other things, a higher transmittable torque and greater insensitivity to thrust loads. A shorter release travel enables faster, sporty shifting. This makes them suitable for use in tuning for the road, for long-distance races and hill climbs (e.g. Group N) and for vehicles that are often moved with maximum payload (construction site vehicles, ambulances, courier services (TNT, DHL, UPS etc.) , especially suitable. Rigid and torsion-sprung disks are used. Torsion-sprung disks dampen engine vibrations and, thanks to their reinforced damper structure, protect the transmission. Attention: Reinforced clutch components may increase the pedal force, while the modulation range on the clutch pedal can be reduced. Clutch and transmission noises can occur .
