Please only use the adhesives mentioned in the test documents (general operating license, approval).
Disregard leads to the loss of the general operating licence and insurance protection of the vehicle as well as
prosecution in case of damage. The approved adhesives can be bought at Volkswagen / Audi with article
number 000.071.785 D as a complete adhesive set (glue incl. primer). Two adhesive sets are needed for the
assembly. The primer which is included in the adhesive set is also needed for the assembly.
Attention: the glue must harden at least 12h before the vehicle is allowed to be moved in traffic!
– Golf VII GTI / GTD / R and R-Line exterior package:
before mounting the ABT – side skirts
the serial side skirts have to be demounted. This means an additional
assembly time of app. 0,5h has to be planned.
– the matt black decor foils for the design deepenings in the rear parts of the ABT – side skirts are included in the
delivery of the ABT – side skirts.
